The year is now 2020..2019 has come and gone and it is now time to prepare for yet another year. But what does 2020 really look like for some of us? There is a lot of hype around New Years Resolutions. Let's be honest do we really keep them? Studies have shown that less than 25% of people actually stay committed to their resolutions after just 30 days, and only 8% accomplish them. (Prossack, 2018)
Let's take a look at what the definition of a New Year's Resolution means? A New Year's resolution is a tradition, most common in the Western Hemisphere but also found in the Eastern Hemisphere, in which a person resolves to continue good practices, change an undesired trait or behavior, to accomplish a personal goal, or otherwise improve their life.
To me making a Resolution just doesn't make sense if you are not going to commit to it. It's better to create a realistic #goal and create steps that will push you to achieve that goal.
How Do You Feel About The Year 2020?
2020 is about #growth #inspriation #abundance #fullfillment #purpose #humble #dedication #debtfree and #selfcare. A recent sermon from my local church spoke of Daring To Dream Radically. Dreams are important. We are created for more and we all have a purpose in life, regardless if it seems like it isn't working at this very moment.
2020 is going to a blessing beyond understanding and I pray that 2020 be a blessing to you and yours.
