Dare To Dream Radically

Dare to dream radically! It bears repeating..Dreams are important to a person's individual personality. I never really thought of my Dreams, neither had I had the mind to dream at all. As we embark on a new year, 2020 we start to think about what can I do better for the new year versus where I was in 2019? This is where The New Year Resolution's come into play.

What is a New Year's Resolution?

A New Year's resolution is a tradition, in which a person resolves to continue good practices, change an undesired trait or behavior, to accomplish a personal goal, or otherwise improve their life. Let's be honest-Who really keeps their New Year Resolutions? The typical New Year's Resolution is to lose weight, Diet, or Learn a new skill or hobby. Take a look at this chart below from Statista. I thought this chart was very interesting? Let me know what you think?

“For I know the plans i have for you", declares the Lord," plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and i will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”(Jeremiah 29: 11-13 NIV)

As you can see #Diet and #Health was the top-rated #Resolution over the others. But the real question is of that 71 % who really stuck with their diet or even stuck with any activities to promote good health for themselves. Only God knows but the statement Dare To #Dream Radically means that no matter what happens to you your purpose in life cannot be stopped when God has already set a purpose for your life. Through this series, I have learned that I have to Bloom where I am planted. Life can be hard and part of Dreaming is connecting with your gifts. We all have a gift. We sometimes need just that extra push. You have to look for people that have the same #purpose or passion as you to indulge yourself in and who have good intentions. Negativity energy is real and there are a couple of things that can be done to reject those bad vibes--but I will leave that for another post.

During this series my pastor told us to write down our dreams, doesn't matter if it's two to three things or a whole book, and to pray and fast for seven days. Pray for clarity. Pray for purpose. Pray for new beginnings. I challenge you today. I did and it was wonderful. Post your comments below and be sure to follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and YouTube. Talk Soon!
